PRODUCTS WITH
Francesco Petrarch is one of the founders of the Renaissance movement and humanism.
Much like Petrarch, we also believe in humanism and admire Renaissance ideals.
We also think there should be more humanism today, especially regarding body-care products and products’ neutrality to nature.
We took it upon ourselves to embrace Renaissance ideals and re-invent body and oral care products. We excluded greed-driven, cheap, harmful ingredients and enthused our products with meaning and healthy counterparts.
Here is how we comply with Renaissance ideals:
- Humanism: We believe in love for our body; consequently, it raises the question of why one should adopt an industry-standard Sodium Lauryl Sulfate used to clean oil barrels to care for our biological bodies? It shouldn’t.
- Skepticism: We have questioned the need for artificial colorings in toothpaste and decided to exclude Titanium Dioxide in 2019. In 2021 it was declared to be a potential genotoxin. We continue reevaluation of ingredients and their need in products.
- Secularism: As people during Renaissance, we take an interest in this world. Thus, we are keen on biodegradability and sustainable packaging. Our packaging is 100% recyclable and uses recycled materials.
- Classicism: We are keen on using more traditional ingredients in our products which may be more expensive but have proven harmless and have been with us for hundreds or sometimes thousands of years.
